Despite the FA Cup being in full swing, most of the games in Sky Bet League Two went ahead. Here's a recap of what happened.
Dagenham & Redbridge 3-3 Scunthorpe United
Dagenham are up to tenth after coming from 3-0 down to rescue a point at Victoria Road.
Goals from Sam Winnall, Deon Burton and Paul Hayes took the league leaders three up, before Abu Ogogo and substitute Chris Dickson reduced the deficit to one.
A 10-minute break following a thunderstorm did not disrupt the Daggers’ comeback, as another sub Luke Norris completed the turnaround for Wayne Burnett’s side.
They have 35 points, while Russ Wilcox’s sit at the summit on 49 – just one ahead of second.
Northampton Town 1-3 Chesterfield
Chesterfield moved up to second with 48 points, after coming from behind to see off the bottom side at Sixfields.
Dan Gardner scored on his debut to cancel out Darren Carter’s penalty for the Cobblers, before Gary Roberts and Armand Gnanduillet wrapped up the victory for the Spireites.
Chris Wilder will take over the reins for Northampton after leaving Oxford United on Saturday, and has the tasks of keeping them in the Sky Bet Football League. They are currently six points from safety at the foot of the table and need points fast.
Morecambe 2-2 Portsmouth
Mark Hughes and Jack Redshaw cancelled out Jake Jervis’ double for Pompey, to secure a point for Jim Bentley’s men at the Globe Arena.
The Shrimps remain ninth with 38 points, while Richie Barker’s side are down to 21st on 29.
Mansfield Town 2-2 Wycombe Wanderers
Lee Stevenson and Oliver Palmer saved a point for Paul Cox’s men, after Stuart Lewis and Josh Scowan had put Gareth Ainsworth’s side 2-0 up at the One Call Stadium.
The Stags stay 17th on 31 points, while the Chairboys drop to 19th with 29.
Oxford United 1-0 Torquay United
Deane Smalley scored the winner in Wilder’s last game in charge, as he resigned after five years at the Kassam Stadium.
The win lifted the Us into sixth on goal difference with 45 points, while Chris Hargreaves’ side remain in the bottom two on 26.
Burton Albion 2-4 Fleetwood Town
Goals from David Ball, Nathan Pond, Jon Parkin and Junior Brown lifted Fleetwood into the automatic promotion places on 47 points.
Burton’s goals at the Pirelli Stadium came courtesy of Mark Roberts and Alex Marrow putting through their own net, as Gary Rowett’s men slipped to fifth – just a point behind Graham Alexander’s side.
Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Cheltenham Town
Luke Young rescued a point for John Sheridan’s side, after Byron Harrison had given Mark Yates’ men an earlier lead at Home Park.
The teams remain a place and point apart, with the Pilgrims 12th on 35 and the Robins 13th with 34.
AFC Wimbledon 2-1 Exeter City
Jack Midson scored at both ends as the Dons came from behind to secure three points, while Luke Moore was also on target at Kingsmeadow.
The win lifts Neal Ardley’s side up to 11th with 35 points, while Paul Tisdale’s men drop to 16th on 32.
Bristol Rovers 3-1 Newport County
Goals from Kaid Mohamed, Eliot Richards and John-Joe O’Toole lifted John Ward’s men up to 18th with 30 points, while Rene Howe was on target for Justin Edinburgh’s side who stay eighth on 38 after defeat at the Memorial Stadium.
Hartlepool United 2-0 York City
Goals from Luke James and Manchester United loanee Jack Barmby moved Colin Cooper’s men above York into 14th with 34 points.
Nigel Worthington’s side slip to 15th on 32 after the defeat at Victoria Park.
Accrington Stanley P-P Bury
The game at the Crown Ground was postponed.
James Beattie’s men slipped to 20th on 29 points, David Flitcroft’s side stay 22nd with 28.
