Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is one big dude - I guess they don't call him "Big Ben" for nothing.

He's built like a pro wrestler, and the Steelers star was in the crowd for one of the sport's biggest events this weekend - the Royal Rumble.

Roethlisberger was spotted backstage with Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels before the event, and then took his ringside seat in front of a clown. Yep, that the Royal Rumble all right.

Second only to Wrestlemania among wrestling fans, the Royal Rumble is basically men in lycra colliding with great intensity - or wait, isn't that the NFL?

Whatever. Big Ben seemed to be enjoying himself at the event, and he earned it after a gruelling season leading the Steelers.

The AFC North team finished the campaign 8-8, missing out on the playoffs.

Check out the picture of Roethlisberger at the Royal Rumble above. So what do you reckon, think Big Ben could last a round or two?
