Gomes has dropped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, and has found his playing time severely restricted, after a succession of blunders whilst still a first-team regular.
Gomes took to Twitter to clarify his position at the Premier League club.
He said: "Everyone knows that PSV is very special for me and I hope that I can play there again one day, but it is not the case at the moment, I have been as professional as possible during the time I'm not playing."
The Brazilian goalkeeper, 32, insists he still has many years at the top game in him; however, his contract at Spurs expires this summer.
