Scarlett Johansson Super Bowl ad banned

Football News

One of the adverts which will not be shown during the 2014 Super Bowl, much to the disappointment of many viewers, is this Sodastream commercial featuring A-list actress Scarlett Johansson.

The clip shows Scarlett advertising the product, before wondering out loud: "If only I could make this message go viral…"

But, fortunately, the 29-year-old comes up with an instant plan, and whips off her dressing gown before drinking her soda in a very – ahem – suggestive manner.

However, the raunchiness rating of the ad is not what led to it being banned.

The reason it will not be shown is because at the end of the clip, Scarlett says: "Sorry Coke and Pepsi".

Bad move!

Mentioning the two drinks giants means Sodastream's commercial will not be shown.

Still, at least Scarlett succeeded in making the commercial go viral.
