Toni Kroos: Top five goals

Manchester United have already completed one significant piece of business during the transfer window after Juan Mata arrived from Chelsea in a club record deal. There could, though, be yet more movement before the deadline.

The Premier League champions are reported to be preparing a formal approach for Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos, and are ready to pay £25 million to bring the Germany international to Manchester.

David Moyes is set to sanction a move to lure Kroos to Old Trafford, with the player currently deadlocked with Bayern regarding a new contract.

Kroos is reported to be demanding £150,000-per-week in order to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena, and Manchester United would be willing to offer that salary to secure the acquisition of the 24-year-old.

The German is in his fourth season with Bayern, having signed from Bayer Leverkusen in 2010, and played a prominent role in securing the historic treble success of last season.

Take a look at the video above to whet the appetite ahead of his potential move to Manchester United.
