Yellow cards - 35

Red cards - 5

Points - 45

The first entrant in our top five (things are getting serious now) are relegation-threatened Sunderland.

Things are beginning to stabilise somewhat under the management of Gus Poyet, but, then again, nothing could ever be quite as eventful as they were during Paolo di Canio's reign at the Stadium of Light.

Quite who thought the fiery Italian's appointment was a good idea and why, frankly baffles me. Phil Bardsley, who fell out of favour under Di Canio but has become an important figure in the team for Poyet, has collected six yellow cards to date.
