More Super Bowl drama sees Strahan & Sapp face-off

Super Bowl week is never lacking for drama - and we've got some more schoolboy stuff here.

Defensive legends Michael Strahan and Warren Sapp are two of the greats of the modern era - but boy, they don't get on at all.

On Jim Rome's radio show earlier this week, Sapp took the rivalry up a notch when he called out Strahan for his lisp - and even offered to go toe-to-toe with the former-New York Giants defensive end.

Strahan had previously called the NFL Network analyst a "coward", something that obviously did not sit well with Sapp.

He told Rome's radio show: "He took it to a level that it didn't need to be.

"I was just talking about his resume. I didn't say anything about his gap tooth or his S words or his F words that I don't understand what the hell he's saying."

Rome then responded by saying: "Is that a reason to go? Is that just gonna go right off your back?"

To which Sapp responded: "Pick a spot, and Ill come see you and you can have a dose of it."

The beef stems from debates over Strahan's Hall of Fame candidacy - basically he could be inducted on Saturday and Sapp doesn't believe he deserves it.

It's all a bit pathetic, but to be fair, it would be pretty sweet watching these two titans of the NFL go head-to-head on screen (debating, of course, not fighting).
