The claws are out as National Signing Day fast approaches.

As we enter the final weekend before one of the most eagerly anticipated days in the college football calendar there is an interesting story developing out in California.

With Devon Godchaux (4-star defensive end), Kenny Young (four-star  linebacker) and highly sort after five-star wide receiver Malachi Dupre all having visited LSU this week, the trio boarded a flight today bound for California.

They were headed to UCLA for one final official visit before deciding their commitments next week.

But according to Bruin Report Online, and several other sources, joining them on the flight out of New Orleans was LSU's offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.

Reported as such via Twitter:

"Desperation: When an LSU coach travels on same plane as recruits on their way to #UCLA official visit."

Now while there is no rule against an individual getting on a certain flight, it does seem a happy coincidence for the Tigers.

With rumors that Cameron could be boarding the same flight back to Louisiana on Sunday too UCLA fans are concerned there is some underhand dealings going on.

SB Nation's 'Bruins Nation' are even suggesting the coach is staying at the same hotel as Dupre and co in California.

LSU fans have been quick to jump to the defense of Cameron however, pointing out that the coach could be travelling to the west coast in order to pay a final home visit to Adoree Jackson - the highest ranked recruit yet to commit ahead of next Wednesday.

Ahhh isn't this time of year fun.
