Manchester United boss David Moyes is determined to land Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani in the summer, reports The Daily Star

The Red Devils boss made a move for the forward in the January window, however PSG were reluctant to sell their prize asset.

But that hasn't put the United  boss off and he now appears ready to make a move for the striker in the summer.

It's expected that Manchester United will have to pay at least the £50m that the Ligue 1 outfit paid for the player's services in 2013 meaning the Red Devils boss will have to once again break the club's record fee for a player yet again.

Manchester United signed Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata for £37.1m in the last window and look set to add to their squad in the next market.

The Red Devils have had a nightmare season so far and currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League and could miss out on Champions League qualification this season. Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping for a number of signings in the next window.
