Denver Broncos 8-43 Seattle Seahawks

10:20: Thank you to everyone for joining in with this live blog, I hope you enjoyed the game and keep tuned to for all the latest NFL news this offseason.

10:17: Malcolm Smith has been named MVP of the game. Smith had nine tackles and one interception. Congratulations to him.



Q4:1:59: TURNOVER ON DOWNS- With this game beyond doubt, Tarvaris Jackson will come in to replace Russell Wilson at quarterback. The Seahawks fail to move the chains and the Broncos will have one more possession.

Q4: 3:44: FUMBLE- Seahawks really rubbing salt in the wound now: The ball is knocked out of Peyton Manning's hand and recovered by Seattle. 

Q4 5:19: TURNOVER ON DOWNS- The Seahawks burn over four minutes in clock but fail to convert on a fourth and one. Broncos will take over with too little time.

Q4 9:48: TURNOVER ON DOWNS- Peyton Manning finds an open receiver on a vital fourth down but the pass is dropped and Seattle will take over. With less than 10 minutes on the clock, Seahawks can now see this out.

Q4 11:45: TOUCHDOWN- The Seattle Seahawks can just not stop scoring! Wilson finds Doug Baldwin who squirms his way through a tackle and into the end zone. Wilson had found Kearse earlier in the drive to set up the score. Broncos 8-43 Seahawks

Q4 15:00: TOUCHDOWN- Finally Denver Broncos get their first points on the board with a great catch from Demaryius Thomas in the end zone. The Broncos complete the two-point conversion with a screen to Wes Welker. Broncos 8-36 Seahawks

Q3 2:59: TOUCHDOWN- Russell Wilson finds Jermaine Kearse on a slant route and the receiver bounces through a number of tackles into the end zone. Broncos 0-36 Seahawks

Q3 5:55- FUMBLE- That's the third turnover by the Denver Broncos offense. Peyton Manning finds Demaryius Thomas for a first down but the ball is punched out by a Seahawks defender. The ball is recovered by Seattle and they will takeover in decent field position once again.

Q3 7:05- The Broncos defense get a stop at last as Wilson can't move his team down the field. The Seahawks punt it away after the three and out.

Q3 10:38- The Denver Broncos still can't get anything going as they move the ball to around midfield before stalling on third down. The Broncos punt it away on fourth down.

Q3 14:48- TOUCHDOWN- ...And the Seattle Seahawks tack on another one, Percy Harvin fields the short kickoff and dodges a number of would be Broncos tacklers to run it all the way to the house. Broncos 0-29 Seahawks

8:23 ET- Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' performances are over. What did you think? Be sure to let us know. The second half of the game will be underway shortly.

8:00 ET- HALFTIME- That's the end of the first half and plenty to talk about for John Fox and his Denver Broncos team. Performances from Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are coming up.

Q2: 1:01-TURNOVER ON DOWNS- That probably sums up the Broncos first half: Manning leads Denver down inside the Seahawks 30 yard line but his pass on a vital fourth down is incomplete. It now looks like the Broncos will end the first half without a single point. Disaster.

Q2- 3:21 TOUCHDOWN- Disaster strikes once again for the Denver Broncos. As Peyton Manning finally gets a drive going: Two consecutive completions and the Broncos cross midfield. But on third down, a Manning throw is tipped and intercepted by Malcolm Smith and returned for a touchdown. Broncos 0-22 Seahawks

Q2 - 12:00- TOUCHDOWN- The Seattle Seahawks take advantage of a Broncos pass interference penalty and Marshawn Lynch powers it in for the first TD of the game. The extra point is good. Broncos 0-15 Seahawks

Q1 0:59 - INTERCEPTION- Things are just getting worse and worse for the Broncos. On third and seven, Peyton Manning throws high and the ball is intercepted by Kam Chancellor. The Seahawks will now take over with great field position. 

Q1 2:16- FIELD GOAL- Russell Wilson keeps the drive alive with two great third down conversions to cross midfield. Then Wilson finds an open receiver to get inside the Broncos 10. But Wilson can't find Kearse in the back of the end zone on third down and the Seahawks again settle for three. Broncos 0-8 Seahawks

Q1 8:31  - Peyton Manning just can't quite get anything going right now. Under pressure on third down Manning makes the completion but shy of the first down and the Broncos will punt it away.

Q1 10:21 FIELD GOAL- Set up by a 30 yard gain from Percy Harvin and a 12 yard completion to Jermaine Kearse. Russell Wilson attempted to gain a vital 1st down but was brought down just shy and Seattle kicked the three points. Broncos 0-5 Seahawks

1st Quarter 14:50: SAFETY- Disaster strikes for Peyton Manning, an early snap soars over his head and although the veteran QB recovers the ball, he is downed in his own end zone and the Seahawks lead. Broncos 0-2 Seahawks

6:33 ET: Trindon Holliday returns the ball to the Broncos' 15 and Peyton Manning will start his first drive.

6:30 ET: The Seattle Seahawks have won the toss and will kick off to begin the game.

6:23 ET: Opera star, Renee Fleming has just taken to the stage for the national anthem and now we are ready for kick off!

6:20 ET: The teams are now making their way onto the field with much fanfare and we are now just a few minutes away from kickoff in New Jersey
