The Seattle Seahawks comfortably beat the Denver Broncos 43-8 to win Super Bowl 48 in New Jersey.
Denver Broncos started the season in terrible fashion by allowing a safety on an early snap in the first play of the game.
Turnovers were a factor for the Broncos all game as they committed four takeaways in defeat.
The Seahawks were leading 8-0 before two interceptions from Peyton Manning resulted in two Seattle touchdowns before half-time.
After the interval, Percy Harvin added a further touchdown for the Seahawks with an 87 yard kick-off return.
Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin added two more scores in the second half either side of a consolation Broncos touchdown.
The win was the first title for the Seahawks although they had previously made the Super Bowl in 2005.
After the game second-year quarterback, Russell Wilson said:
"First of all God is good, he's brought me this far. My teammates are incredible, we've been relentless all season."
Linebacker Malcolm Smith was voted MVP of the game with nine tackles and one interception.
