Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is closing in on a return to first-team action, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgium international has been out of action since the start of December with a wrist injury - but has now recovered after undergoing surgery on the reoccurring problem.
Fellaini travelled to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday but was not named in Manchester United's 18-man squad.
However the 26-year-old is expected to feature against Fulham on Sunday.
Under-fire Old Trafford boss David Moyes will be hoping Fellaini can prove his worth when he returns to the Manchester United fold in the next couple of weeks.
Fellaini, who joined Manchester United in the summer for £27.5million, struggled for form
during the opening few months of the season.
The midfielder's last appearance came against his former side Everton, which was a game in which Manchester United lost 1-0.
Manchester United will be hoping they can bounce back from their eighth Premier League defeat of the season when they take on Rene Meulensteen's Fulham at the weekend.
