EA Sports' Madden 25 fails to get Super Bowl prediction correct

EA Sports and the Madden franchise has fallen to an 8-3 record in predicting Super Bowl winners after they got their prediction of Super Bowl XLVIII drastically wrong.

Seattle Seahawks battered the Denver Broncos 43-8 yesterday in New York, but EA Sports predicted the result wrongly for only the third time after they choose the Broncos.

Madden 25's simulation couldn't have been more wrong if it tried.

It predicted snow, there wasn't any. It predicted that the game would be close 31-28 win for Denver, it wasn't at all. It predicted that Matt Prater would kick winning field goal for Denver, well, you get the idea.

EA usually gets the result right, and sometimes even gets close to predicting the actual scoreline.

That certainly didn't happen Sunday, but you can't really blame them too much.

Nobody in their right minds could have predicted the sequence of events that took place yesterday in New Jersey, and we'll see if Madden can get back on the horse next year.
