With Chelsea's frustrating striking conundrum having been well-documented, how they must rue the day they allowed Daniel Sturridge to defect to Premier League rivals Liverpool.
Although the England international did not exactly flourish at Stamford Bridge, he was rarely afforded ample time to demonstrate his qualities in his preferred position and often found himself in an unfamiliar wide role.
Since moving to Anfield in January of 2012, however, Sturridge has simply excelled. A truly wonderful finisher with a slightly irritating celebration, there can be no doubt about his prowess in front of goal.
