Mexican striker knocked out by post after scoring goal

It seems that some strikers are just too committed for their own good.

That was certainly the case for Santos Laguna striker Javier Orozco, who managed to hit the woodwork while also scoring for his side in their 2-0 victory over Toluca.

The Mexican forward looked to be odds on to score after taking down a looping through ball brilliantly and lobbing the goalkeeper.

However his initial effort looked like it would drift just wide so he was forced to put his head where it hurts - quite literally - and nod the ball home.

A shove from a defender and a collision with the post later and Orozco was flat out on his back.

It wasn't all bad news for the 26-year-old though, his brace in the game helped his side claim their first league win in seven attempts.
