Seahawks celebrate SuperBowl with $100k champagne

Football News

After wining the Super Bowl you can imagine that the Seattle Seahawks players, coaches and just about everyone involved with the organization had a bit of a party.

Well the players certainly did. Pictures emerged on Twitter of the partying players at a bar with a rather large bottle of champagne.

The bottle in question is made by Armand de Brignac and retails at a staggering $100,000.

The company or bar that the Super Bowl winners go to will usually comp the bottle - it's on the house - in exchange for free publicity in the form of pictures posted on to social media etc.

As you can see here, Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate has the privilege of taking the picture before having a drink with the giant bottle which needs two people to hold.

And you can bet your life that the Seahawks partied hard. From the picture Earl Thomas posted on Instagram of GM John Schneider shirtless wearing a WWE championship belt, to receiver Doug Baldwin admitting on ESPN radio that the players hadn't slept and were still celebrating at 7am.

Seattle deserved their fun and boy did they do it in style.
