Chicago Bulls Joakim Noah will consider himself a lucky man after avoiding suspension.

The NBA have fined Noah $10,000 for his actions, giving new commissioner Adam Silver his first disciplinary case.

The Bulls center was ejected from Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings after committing his second personal foul.

The Bulls went on to lose the game 99-70.

He was ordered off the court in the third quarter and went to each referee individually and screamed "F**K YOU" to them.

Speaking before the game yesterday against the Phoenix Suns, he admitted that: "I think it was fair. It was a bad mistake on my part. I have to keep my cool under all circumstances."

Chicago hit back and won Tuesday's game against the Suns 101-92 with Noah finishing as the Bulls top performer.

Noah finished the game with 14 points and 14 rebounds as Carlos Boozer topped the points tally with 19 for the Bulls.

The best performance went to Suns Goran Dragic who hit 24 points, making it a five game streak of 20 plus points for him.
