Joakim Noah has become well known for his excellent defense and boisterous on court demeanor.

On Monday against Sacremento, however, boiserous gave way to totally demonstrative.

After some physical play resulted in Noah and Kings center DeMarcus Cousins being whistled for double technical fouls, Noah picked up a second, resulting in an immediate ejection, but before he left the court, he made sure every referee in the game knew exactly how he felt about it.

The NBA fined Noah $15,000 for the outburst.

The former All-Star told Bulls Blogger Sam Smith that he was happy to not have been suspended.

“It was a bad mistake on my part. I have to keep my cool under all circumstances. It’s unfortunate I have to pay for it," Noah said.

The 23-24 Bulls currently hold the six-spot in the eastern conference playoff picture, and they'll open a three-game west coast road trip tonight at the Phoenix Suns.
