Position: Defensive end

School: Florida

Powell has announced that he will forgo his senior year at Florida in order to declare for the 2014 NFL draft.

And the defensive end struggled to live up to the hype that comes with being the nations top ranked prospect on National Signing Day.

The 'Gators man had a fairly productive first season, leading the team in sacks in 2011 (six). He repeated the feat in 2013, registering four sacks in the most recent season.

But these two years were punctuated with a serious injury.

Powell tore his ACL in his left knee twice in 2012; once in preseason, and then again during rehabilitation, meaning the California native missed the entire season.

The 6' 4" player lined up at both defensive end and linebacker in 2013.
