Peyton Manning has taken to the golf course this week in order to put his Super Bowl trauma behind him. Unfortunately for Manning, he was joined by five time Super Bowl champion coach Bill Belichick.

The pair were photographed during a practice round of the upcoming AT&T Pro-Am tournament by Golf Channel reporter Todd Lewis.

Lewis tweeted alongside the picture: "Holy Omaha! Manning and Belichick playing prax round together for@attproam. Love of game trumps rivalry."

Manning's Broncos defeated Belichick's New England Patriots team in the AFC Championship game in January.

The pair were joined by Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady as well as Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers, quarterbacks from Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers respectively.

The tournament pits athletes and celebrities alongside professionals from the PGA tour. Brandt Snedeker won the tournament last year.

Manning is due to have a physical during this offseason which is likely to affect whether he will continue to play for the Broncos. However the quarterback has remained positive after his Super Bowl defeat and has remained healthy for much of the past two seasons.
