One of the top multi-positional players in the country has made his long-awaited college decision.
John "JuJu" Smith committed to USC on National Signing Day, joining five-star cornerback Adoree' Jackson and No. 1 guard Damien Mama as the Trojans' had an excellent day of recruiting on NSD 2014.
Smith is listed at 6'1 and 200 pounds and had attended Long Beach Poly in California and was considered one of the states best prospects.
Both Rivals and 24/7 Sports considered him a five star prospect and ranked him as the number two safety overall, while both had him as a top five athlete.
"The new coahing staff was great," Smith said during his announcement. "Great coaching staff, great program. I love the tempo on offense and defense. USC's just been my dream school since Day 1. I've found these USC fans and love it to death. Fight On."
Notre Dame, Oregon and UCLA were the other finalists in his recruitment, with the Ducks making a big push for him late on.
