In the levels of odd decisions, you could forgive the Lakers fans for being a bit confused here.

A giant of the game and of height, Shaq decided in 2013 to acquire a stake in the then struggling Sacramento Kings.

He famously was the player who put their Conference dreams into tatters after helping the Lakers turn around a 3-2 game deficit in 2002.

He owned them then, and he owns them now!

But if you have to put your name to helping something, anything is better than 1994 video game Shaq-Fu. The less said about that particular business move, the better.
