Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is keen on a move to Premier League champions Manchester United, reports talkSPORT.

The Italian star has struggled with life in Serie A this season, having been replaced by the likes of Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal in the Juve first team, and now it appears that he's open to a switch to David Moyes' side.

The Manchester United boss is expected to make a number of signings in the summer window and bringing in a new midfielder to the club appears to be a priority.

Reports have now suggested that Marchisio is ready to join the Red Devils in the summer as he goes in search of first team football.

Manchester United's midfielders have all struggled in this campaign so far. The likes of Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick have both had injury problems and Brazilian ace Anderson was recently shipped out on loan to Fiorentina.

Manchester United fans will be hoping that at least one central-midfielder arrives through the Old Trafford gates this summer.
