A football fan is under pressure to come good on a pledge he made prior to Manchester United’s draw against Fulham, with the Twitter user boldly claiming he would cut his ‘dick off’ were David Moyes’ side to fail to secure victory.

@FP_346, as he is known, pledges allegiance to West Ham in his Twitter bio and had clearly been confident the Premier League champions would dispatch of Fulham to aid the Hammers’ bid to avoid relegation.

So confident was he, that @FP_346 tweeted the following: “If United DONT Beat Fulham i will cut my dick off.”

It was understandable that said user would be so confident of a Manchester United victory given that they were playing the Premier League’s bottom team, who had not won in eight games, with the encounter also at Old Trafford.

Steve Sidwell’s goal appeared to spell the end for the manhood of @FP_346, but Robin van Persie and Michael Carrick scored in quick succession to move the Red Devils into a winning position.

It seemed as though Manchester United had been able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat as the seconds ticked towards full-time, but Darren Bent popped up to grab a dramatic late leveller for the Cottagers.

Over to you, @FP_346.
