The Kentucky Wildcats' today revealed photo renderings of how their longtime home, the Rupp Arena, will look after new renovations are completed.
CBS reporter Matt Norlander, posted several images via Twitter showing various indoor and outdoor angles of the Rupp Centre - and we have to say it looks fairly impressive.
The Wildcats', currently ranked no. 14 in the nation, have played at the Rupp Arena since 1976, during which time there have been several renovation projects carried out.
But this time around, the arena is set for a major overhaul with $310 million set aside by mayor Jim Gray.
Architects have described the glass exterior as allowing more interaction between the streets and what's going on inside, while there are plans for a new row of luxury seats to be added indoors.
Construction could begin as early as 2015, and if the finished product looks anything like the mock-ups then Wildcat's fans will be more than happy.
