Raw live from Los Angeles, California opened with guest host Betty White being introduced to the crowd. She was led out by The Big Show before telling the crowd that she was going to “kick some ass”, only to be interrupted by Triple H and Stephanie.

The Authority hugged Betty before heading down to the ring, where they clarified that they only said they would reconsider the face of the company, regarding Daniel Bryan’s win over Randy Orton last week, before they were interrupted by The Viper.

Stephanie told Randy that he should go back to the locker room and prepare for his match but Randy said he had come out to apologise for his actions.

Stephanie then revealed that they couldn’t trust him before Randy told her it was all coming from the heart, as the crowd chanted for “Daniel Bryan.”

The Viper then said that he wanted to be the real face of the company and everything that went with it including the talk shows, because he was better than everyone in that locker room, a stance Bryan took offence to.

He asked Randy if he thought he was the heart and soul of the WWE, Stephanie then said she didn’t appreciate being interrupted so superstars now had to make appointments with Kane.

He then talked about how he beat Randy Orton and tonight he wants a match with Kane. Stephanie then told him that Kane was on administrative leave for a week and had a letter of reprimand in his performance appraisal file.

Daniel then asked who was doing her performance approval, before telling them they were a combination of arrogance and stupidity, Randy then told him to show The Authority some respect.

Daniel then went onto insult all three people in the ring before Triple H told him he wasn’t fighting tonight, he was having a well-deserved night off. Daniel then began the “no” chants and everyone left Bryan in the ring alone.

Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and Goldust v The Wyatt Family

Following Bray and Goldust’s match on Smackdown, this showdown was made with Cody starting things out against Eric Rowan, sporting a knee brace after an injury he sustained following a moon-sault of the top of the steel cage on Raw last week.

Goldust took the brunt of the punishment throughout the match as The Wyatts used the quick tags to gain the advantage, Dust threw Rowan to the outside but Harper tagged in and tried to stop Goldust making the tag but failed after a power-slam and Mysterio got the tag.

Rey hit a DDT to Harper before the 619, with the action spilling to the outside leaving Harper and Mysterio as the two legal men.

Rey attempted the 619 again but didn’t see Bray tag in and Bray hit Sister Abigail for the win.

After the match Bray cut a promo from his rocking chair about how The Shield are going to fail at Elimination Chamber, referring to them as little toy soldiers in a war not meant for them.

BACKSTAGE: Renee Young is with The Shield, Roman told her that actions speak louder than words, and Dean said that they will destroy the Wyatt Family. She then asked Dean why he hadn’t defended his title for a while, Dean said it would take too much paper work and Roman looked at him and asked what kind of champion he is before Dean issued an open challenge for the title tonight.

Dolph Ziggler v Alberto Del Rio

For the first time since their World Heavyweight Championship rivalry last year, these two clashed, with Del Rio in the mists of a rivalry with Batista.

Ziggler hit the famouser early on but only got the two count, Del Rio recovered to hit the shining Wizard to the face for the win.

Jimmy then hit the splash for the win.

Road Dogg jumped up after the match and looked like he was going to attack the Usos but Billy Gunn ran to the back holding himself, looking like he really needed the toilet.
The Shield made their entrance when Raw returned as Dean Ambrose was set to make an open challenge to anyone who wants to fight for his US title.

Mark Henry answered the challenge and the match got underway.

Dean Ambrose v Mark Henry

Roman and Seth were at ringside as Dean took on The World’s strongest man. Henry used his strength over the psychotic Ambrose until Dean found an opening in the corner, but Henry fought out and toyed with Ambrose throwing him into the steel post.

Dean then took the padding off Henry’s elbow and tried to use his injury to his advantage but Henry threw Ambrose to the outside.

Raw returned with Ambrose on top, but Mark Henry threw him from the top rope and began to build momentum slamming the lunatic to the mat.

AJ Lee, Aksana and Alicia v Cameron and The Bella Twins

With Naomi still out injured, Cameron and The Bellas took on The Divas Champion and The real divas Nikki started out against AJ but the Divas Champion tagged out to Aksana, Nikki then did the worm then slammed Aksana before making the tag to Brie.

The twins looked like they were going for poetry in motion but Brie slipped off Nikki’s back but still managed to recover and hit the corner clothesline before she hit the missile drop kick from the top rope.

Alicia Fox was then tagged in and locked Brie in a submission manoeuvre before but Brie hit a drop kick to the face and tagged in Cameron.

Cameron showed signs of real ring improvement as the hit the head scissors on Alicia and Aksana came in off the tag and received a DDT for the win.

Kane’s music hit and the big red machine approached the ring regardless of the fact that Stephanie said he was on administrative leave.

He then said he accepts the punishment and he acted of his own volition and it was ill advised before Daniel Bryan interrupted and came straight down to attack Kane.

The Monster slapped him in the throat and Kane went for the Chokeslam but Daniel threw him out of the ring before flying out after him.

John Cena v Randy Orton

Cena said that this would be the match that will define his future, these two man have clashed so many times over and right now they are just two weeks away from being locked in the Elimination Chamber together, but they took it to each other in the early minutes of the match before Randy exited the ring for a breather and came back to try to dissect Cena with his stomp.

The match then spilled to the outside and Cena was bounced off the newly formed announce desk and the steel post before Randy dragged him back into the ring for a two count.

Orton was dominating when Raw returned but Cena hit the shoulder block and went for it again but Randy ducked and Cena rolled to the outside before being supexed back in.

Randy went for the punt to the face but Cena moved, went for the AA and Randy countered and hit the RKO for a two count! But John jumped up and hit the AA also for a two count!
Cena then climbed up to the top rope with Randy on his shoulders but Orton fought out and Cena hit the leg drop to the back of the neck and a second AA for the win.

What a way to build up the Elimination Chamber. The Champion is on a losing streak of sorts, The Shield may has angered Mark Henry when they already have three enemies to be watching, whilst also being unable to trust each other and Batista is set to face Alberto Del Rio in what will be a squash match for the no 1 contender. All that plus the WWE network launches in two weeks!
