Manchester United fans have picked their XI to take on Arsenal tonight and want Wayne Rooney to drop back into midfield, reports The Manchester Evening News

The Red Devils are in desperate need of a victory at the Emirates and will be hoping David Moyes can pick a team to secure all three points in north London.

United are in terrible form and have already been beaten five times in all competitions in 2014. Moyes' side are also nine points behind fourth placed Liverpool and are in great danger of missing out on Champions League qualification this season.

So, which stars do the fans think should start tonight?

Well, after Manchester United were held to bottom of the table Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday, supporters believe Ashley Young and Darren Fletcher should drop out of the team.

In their place, fans want Antonio Valencia and youngster Adnan Januzaj to come in and show what they've got at the Emirates.

If Januzaj does get the nod for the champions, then it would be the first game that Manchester United's super quartet of Rooney, Juan Mata, Robin van Persie and the teenager would have started with each other.

Manchester United fans appear to want Wayne Rooney to drop back into midfield, with Van Persie acting as the lone striker against his former club.
