LeBron James may well believe that he belongs on the Mount Rushmore of four greatest ever NBA players but Skip Bayless does not agree.

The ESPN analyst said today that he felt LA Lakers guard, Kobe Bryant was more deserving of a place in basketball history.

"Right now Kobe belongs on Mt. Rushmore far more than LeBron, who has a chance but long, long way to go." Bayless tweeted.

In an interview with NBA TV which was leaked yesterday, James said that he would go down as one of the four greatest players of all time once he retired.

However, some analysts have disagreed with the Miami Heat star's statement citing his lack of championship wins so far.

James has won two NBA Finals since his high profile move from the Cleveland Cavaliers but other players that he mentioned such as Michael Jordan (6) and Larry Bird (3) are still ahead.

Kobe Bryant has won five championships during his time with the Lakers and also has something that LeBron does not, a Slam-Dunk contest win.

It seems that Bayless and other analysts believe that  LeBron must win more championships in order to be considered a great of the game.
