Barack Obama could well be the next great NBA coach and his adviser will be the departed controversial NBA commissioner David Stern

Crazy right? But not so much according to Stern who was interviewed leaving a restaurant last night as he made his claim to be Obama's next adviser.

The President is due to finish his current term in office in two years, and when asked what Obama's should do after 2016, Stern said he should become a basketball coach.

When asked about Obama and basketball, Stern revealed, "Yes, he's going to be great. I'm going to represent him and he's going to be a coach," TMZ reported.

Whether Obama becomes the next Phil Jackson remains to be seen.

We all know that he has a massive interest in basketball. It seems he's interviewed as many times on television courtside than he is in formal presidential situations.

According to Stern, he added life after basketball is 'wonderful', and he said Kobe Bryant will be with him 'soon'.
