Dwight Howard loves dunking on Kobe

Football News

Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard are not friends, that is something we can be pretty sure of. There was no love lost when the latter left the Lakers for the Rockets after a season of little impact in Los Angeles, and now the pair don’t even have to pretend to get on.

There were always reports of squabbles during the season but it was not until Howard went to Houston that things began to be laid bare, with Antawn Jamison one of several figures to concede how ‘bad’ the relationship was.

Howard does not appear to be ready to repair the bond anytime soon if his Instagram account is anything to go by, with the Rockets center using the Throwback Thursday trend to poke fun at Bryant.

The 28-year-old posted a picture of himself dunking hard on Bryant during the 2009 NBA Finals, which Orlando Magic lost by the way, accompanied by the following message.

“Throwback hahahahah. Nothin like how he got me but look at dfish and pau face hhahah.”

The time Kobe ‘got’ Howard was during the 2004-05 season, and you can see that posterization in the video below.
