Lee Trundle has secured a potentially lucrative image-rights deal with his club Swansea - believed to be the only one of its kind in Britain outside of the Barclays Premiership.

Almost 90 per cent of all Swans merchandise sold currently features the 29-year-old striker, and the League One top scorer will now have more control over how his name is used. The deal is set to be announced at a press conference at Liberty Stadium on Thursday.

"It´s really exciting," Trundle told PA Sport. "The deal´s going to be on the merchandise, and I´m also looking at bringing out my own clothing range. I´m going to have an input into the design of the clothes as well. It´s the first deal of it´s kind outside of the Premiership so it´s a big achievement for me."
