Michael Vick is set to enter the hair care business with rapper Bow Wow, according to reports in the United States.

Yes, you read the correctly. Reports in New Jersey confirm Vick and Bow Wow have partnered to create Wave Masterz, a new hair care business that specialises in skull caps, brushes, etc.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is set to hit free agency this summer, and may be lining up his opportunities off-the-field.

It's unlikely he'll be forced to call time on his NFL career just yet - there's bound to be some franchise eager to give Vick one last chance to prove his worth at the highest level.

Still, Vick wants to get started on some of his ventures away from the NFL arena. And he tweeted: "Follow the next BIG thing, my business venture: @WaveMasterz #TeamVick"

Vick, 33, is likely to land a roster spot as a back-up veteran hand on an NFL team before the preseason.

Injuries hindered his performances in Philadelphia last year, and he eventually lost his spot to Nick Foles.

But many franchises will look at his skill set and may be tempted to give him the opportunity to impress the coaches heading into the 2014-15 season.
