Manchester United are keen on Barcelona winger Pedro, but may have to fight off the interest of fellow Premier League big boys, Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to Calciomercato, reports in Spain claim that Old Trafford manager David Moyes has been watching the Spain winger carefully with regards to a possible bid in the summer.

However, both Liverpool and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the Barcelona academy graduate, so Moyes may face a battle with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and his counterpart at Anfield, Brendan Rodgers, if he attempts to seal a deal.

Manchester United are having a miserable time in Moyes' first season since taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson and their prospects of qualifying for the top four, and the lucrative Champions League football that comes with it, do not look promising.

The Red Devils are trailing rivals Liverpool, who currently hold fourth spot, by 11 points and with only 12 games remaining, while Arsenal are well in the title race and lie just a point behind leaders Chelsea.

A lack of Champions League football, Liverpool's likely return to the competition and a more financially powerful Arsenal could mean Manchester United's chances of convincing the Barcelona winger to join over them are slim.

However, money talks in football and Old Trafford executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has hinted that Moyes will get a hefty transfer kitty to spend in the summer to try and get the current Premier League champions back on terms with their rivals.
