Ajax are closing in on a new deal with youngster Davy Klaassen, according to talkSPORT.

The forward, who has a contract with the Dutch outfit until the summer of 2016, has been linked with a number of Europe's top clubs in recent months.

And it has recently emerged that a number of the Premier League's elite clubs are monitoring the youngster, who has been hailed the 'new Dennis Bergkamp'.

Recent reports have suggested that the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa are all interested in the player's services, however Ajax seem determined to put an end to the links and want the starlet to commit his future with the club.

It remains to be seen as to whether Manchester United, Arsenal and Co. will continue to monitor the starlet, but his immediate future looks to be with Ajax.

Both Manchester United and Arsenal may now have to turn their attentions elsewhere as they look to strengthen in the summer.
