Kevin Love is not a contented man in Minnesota and the Timberwolves look almost certainly set to lose their star man when he becomes a free agent.

With the NBA trade deadline looming however, the T'Wolves could try and use the situation to their advantage by demanding as much as they want for the All-Star in any possible trades.

According to NBA Insider Chad Ford, Golden State Warriors are a team desperate to bring Love in and could offer up quite the deal to bring the power forward to Oakland.

Minnesota may not be able to bring Love back in free agency, so a possible trade that lands them youngster Harrison Barnes and other draft picks etc may be something that appeals to them.

Getting Barnes for Love isn’t a proposed deal, but with deadline day looming anything can happen and the Warriors will be wanting to keep Andre Igguodala happy, and letting Barnes go may be key to that.

The Warriors have a 31-22 record and sit currently in 7th place in the East. They are really looking at making a run deep into the play-offs and bringing in a player like Kevin Love would make that a reality.
