Diego Maradona "exploded" with jealousy when he thought Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea had been flirting with his fiancée, Rocia Oliva.

The Daily Mail have reported that the Argentine legend, who only proposed to Oliva last week, was left furious after it was claimed that his bride-to-be tried to swap social networking details with the Spanish ace.

Argentine television insisted that the Maradona was raging with jealousy as Jorge Rial, the presenter of Intrusos, said: "It's a real mess. Diego exploded with jealousy."

However, despite the link between the Manchester United star and Oliva, Maradona's lawyer, Angelo Pisani insisted there's no issue between the trio.

Pisani said: "There's no problem between the three of them."

De Gea and his Manchester United teammates had met the Argentine superstar whilst on a trip to Dubai. The Red Devils have now returned to England are will now turn their attentions to tomorrow's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will be desperate to secure the three points against Tony Pulis' side as they look to climb the league table.
