Former Aston Villa and Swansea City striker is set to join MLS side Chivas USA, according to Ives Galarcep

The 28-year-old most recently played for Turkish club Elazigspor, but was released from his contract in January after the club struggling to meet its financial obligations to Moore.

He was initially linked with a return to the England but reportedly turned down a move to Leeds United in order to move to America.

His agent Peter Morrison spoke to Sky Sports and confirmed a deal was in place: "Luke has never hidden his desire to play abroad, which was the main reason behind his move to Turkey.

"It has seemed he would be playing back in the UK again, and a number of clubs were keen - but then this chance came in for him to move to America and was just too good for him to turn down."

In one off-season Chivas have suddenly gone from having one of the worst attacks in the league to potentially one of the most dangerous.

Young sensation Erick 'Cubo' Torres is still on loan at 'The Goats' whilst Moore joins other new signing Bofo Bautista and Mauro Rosales who recently moved to Los Angeles from Seattle Sounders.
