It's been rumoured for quite some time but after TMZ reported it earlier in the day WWE themselves have come out and confirmed that Hulk Hogan will be returning at WrestleMania 30.

Hulkamania is set to appear on this Monday's edition of Raw and will be hosting wrestling's flagship event, WrestleMania, on April 30th.

“We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE,” Chairman Vince McMahon said. “It’s fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network.”

Hogan last appeared on WWE’s flagship show “Raw” in December 2007.

Hogan starred in the first ever WrestleMania way back in 1985 and was a fixture for years in WWE’s signature event, facing everyone from Andre The Giant and Randy Savage to The Rock and even Mr McMahon.

“Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family,” Hogan said. “I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha you gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?”

The Hulkster has been training in Orlando, Florida for the past few months in anticipation for his return but it is not known if he will actually participate in any fights himself.

The 60-year old is a six-time WrestleMania champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his “Rocky III” co-star Sylvester Stallone.
