Edin Dzeko served up a contender for the worst open goal miss in Premier League history on Saturday, during Manchester City's 1-0 victory over Stoke City at the Etihad Stadium.

Four yards out and with the goal gaping, the Bosnian striker got his feet tangled and failed to convert Jesus Navas's cross at the back post, prompting an angry kick out at the upright.

The 27-year-old would have been grateful that the gaffe went unpunished, but must still face up to the embarrassment of his part played in one of the most hilarious close-range bloopers in England's top-flight history.

Where Dzeko's effort ranks amongst the worst open goal misses of all-time, it's down to you, the reader, to decide. Here GiveMeSport brings you four rival blunders that will at least make the Manchester City striker feel a little better.
