Rogelio Chávez put the icing on the cake in Cruz Azul's 3-1 win against Queretaro on Saturday with a truly stunning volley from no less than 50 yards.
Cruz Azul were looking to keep their fine start to the season running with three points at the weekend - and boy did they do that.
2-1 up with just a couple of minutes to go, Chávez took a throw-in just inside the opposition's half.
He received the ball back via the head of a team-mate, but instead of a simple pass the 29-year-old defender launched an outrageous swerving volley that arced straight into the top corner.
