The Undertaker: Will Lesnar end the streak?

Football News

On last night's Raw, it was revealed that The Undertaker will defend his WrestleMania streak against Brock Lesnar on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

And now, as the build up to Mania continues, speculation will begin as to whether Lesnar can end the famous streak.

At 36-years-old, Lesnar is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the industry, so it's not a surprise that the former UFC star is set to go head-to-head with the Phenom in just over a months time.

Bringing Lesnar and Taker together is certainly a master stroke by the company. Fans will be excited by the prospect of the two power-houses stepping into the ring with each other at the Grandest Stage of them All.

But, does Lesnar really have what it takes to stop The Deadman making it 22-0? Well, Lesnar has the stature in the industry to end it and, as the WWE look towards the future, perhaps Lesnar is the man to lead them into a new era...

But, would Lesnar ending the legacy of The Undertaker really be worth it? Taker still has a few pay-per-views left in him yet, so perhaps the streak should continue - for now.

Taker still has life in him and the WWE can utilise the legend for a few more WrestleMania events yet.

One day, the WWE may have to break the streak and it will take a special superstar to end it, but Lesnar's clash with Taker may have just come too soon.

The Undertaker and Lesnar will certainly have an epic battle and it could go down as one of the all-time great WrestleMania matches, but by the end of the match expect Taker to be at 22-0.

Do you think Lesnar should be the man to take The Undertaker's famous WrestleMania streak? Feel free to comment below!
