Aaron Hernandez in inmate assault rumour

Football News

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Hernandez has been reported to have assaulted a fellow inmate whilst in jail on bail.

Raymond Felton may be grabbing the criminal headlines right now, but TMZ have reported that Hernandez attacked an inmate who had been rubbing him up the wrong way throughout the day.

Hernandez, who is currently in jail without bail over his charge for the alleged murder of footballer Odin Lloyd in 2013, is normally separated from other inmates for his own safety.

But the reports from sources say that he was allowed to walk down a corridor alone and confronted the inmate who was "beaten up pretty badly".

There is no official word on this from the Bristol County Jail or his legal team. But one thing is for certain, his legal team will not be happy with this stunt, especially as there is no bail for his release.
