Former Cleveland Cavalier Earl Clark and San Antonio Spurs player Shannan Brown are to join the New York Knicks.

The pair have agreed deals to some contracts in principle for at least ten days. This will allow them to play the next seven games.

The veterans have twelve years experience combined and are still under 30.

There are two spots available for the Kicks after they waived both Beno Udrih and Metta World Peace on Monday afternoon.

The Knicks fans will hope these signings will help to steady a sinking ship as they blew a large lead on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks.

They also have had the recent events unfold around Raymond Felton's arrest over gun possession charges on Tuesday, although he has been released on bail and should be available to play..

The Knicks will be travelling to Miami and Chicago over the next few days to face the Heat and the Bulls as well as entertaining Golden State between them.
