David Beckham played alongside some of the most iconic stars in the game’s history over the course of his illustrious career, and the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder considers Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be among the very best.

Beckham ended his playing days with Paris Saint-Germain last season, where he was able to complete the feat of a fourth league triumph in a fourth different country, and Ibrahimovic played a more prominent role than any other in leading the French capital club to the Ligue 1 crown.

Ibrahimovic scored 30 times in the league to lead PSG to their first title win for 19 years, and Beckham felt fortunate to be in the same team as the incomparable Sweden captain.

So good is Ibrahimovic, says Beckham, that the striker is among the top three players he has ever been on a team with. Quite an accolade with Beckham having previously played with the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Scholes.

"He's in the top three," Beckham told L'Equipe.

"Being in the same team as him is incredible. He's one of the most talented players I crossed during my career. One of the best in the world without doubt."
