Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has been installed as the bookmakers' favourite to replace Manchester United boss David Moyes.

The betting odds have changed significantly this morning as rumours on social networking website Twitter suggested that Moyes was on the verge of leaving the Premier League champions.

Some bookmakers even suspended betting on Moyes being the next Premier League manager to be leave his managerial role.

Former Everton boss Moyes has had a nightmare start to life at Old Trafford with Manchester United currently languishing in sixth spot and out of both domestic cup competitions.

The Red Devils could also crash out of the Champions League on March 19 as they lost 2-0 against Olympiakos in the first leg of their last 16 encounter.

Manchester United are likely to keep hold of Moyes until the end of the season - at the very least - as former boss Sir Alex Ferguson said his fellow Scotsman needed time to rebuild the current side.

Klopp is highly-rated across Europe having led Dortmund to two Bundesliga titles and the 2012-13 Champions League final.

Stan James odds on who will become the next manager of Manchester United:

4/1: Jurgen Klopp
5/1: Sir Alex Ferguson
8/1: Louis van Gaal
10/1: Ryan Giggs
10/1: Pep Guardiola
