The Rock has been nominated for an award at the Nicklodeon Kid's Choice Awards according to a report on wrestlezone.com.
The Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson in his acting appearances as been nominated in the category of 'favorite male butt-kicker'. He faces competition from Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr in the category.
Johnson won the same award in 2013 where he saw off competition from Downey Jr, Andrew Garfield and Chris Hemsworth.
The wrestling superstar and actor was nominated for his portrayal of Roadblock in 'GI Joe: Retaliation', a movie that grossed near $400 million a the box office.
The award ceremony will be held on March 29th and will be hosted by Mark Wahlberg.
Johnson last wrestled in WWE last April when he lost his WWE title to John Cena. He suffered a tendon tear during the event and underwent surgery later that year. A return to the ring has not been ruled out as of yet.
GI Joe: Retaliation was the 24th film that Johnson has appeared in since his acting career began in 1999.
