San Antonio Spurs against Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night saw one of the most bizarre moments of this NBA season, as the shoe of Manu Ginobili appeared to explode on the court.

With the Spurs leading by two points in the second quarter, Ginobili found himself trying to hold up a drive to the rim by Pistons point guard Rod Stuckey, but lost grip on the floor while on defensive duty.

The Spurs defense then combined to shut out the attack from the Pistons, but there was still some damaged caused to the footwear of Ginobili. The Argentinean was was seen being ushered off the court having put his left foot through his shoe entirely. Explosive!

Check it out in the video above.
