LeBron James is expected to start against the New York Knicks tonight and will do so whilst wearing a protective mask.

James has worn the mask throughout practice this week, even through the contact drills and has described it as uncomfortable whilst playing.

LeBron has worn the mask before, he did so in his Cleveland Cavaliers days. He says that he feels less pain with the mask on, despite its tendency to fog up and make things hot and uncomfortable for the reigning MVP of the league.

LeBron is set to go head to head against the on-fire Carmelo Anthony of the Knicks and he'll want to be as confident in his apparel as he can possibly be before facing one of the most difficult players in the NBA to guard.

Both Superstars are on some fantastic form at the moment, as shown by these astronomical stats by the pairing.

James and Anthony are very good friends off the court but you can bet they will both be going at each other in tonights contest, despite LeBron's injury, they will bring the best out of each other on the court.
