Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed that his long term future is still uncertain, reports ABola

The 'keeper, who is currently starring on loan at La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid for the third consecutive season, has been linked with a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge in recent time, with Atletico and neighbours Real Madrid reportedly interested in his signature.

And now it appears, with the season coming to an end, that he's yet to make a decision regarding his future.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "My rep is that you have treated this matter and only know what is essential. At this point, Atletico Madrid want to stay here and return to Chelsea. The situation is not clear for me and have not made a decision."

Chelsea fans will be hoping the highly rated 'keeper will return to Stamford Bridge this summer and go head-to-head with Petr Cech for the No.1 role.

If Courtois is part of Jose Mourinho's plans, then the 'keeper will have a hard task trying to overcome Cech between the sticks.

However, it remains to be seen as to whether Courtois will head back to Chelsea at the end of the season.

Chelsea's immediate attention will turn to their Premier League clash with Fulham tomorrow afternoon as they look to stay at the top of the division.
