The Manchester Evening News recently asked Manchester United fans how much they would pay the players at Old Trafford.

The final figures were identified after averaging out all of the submissions from the United fans.

With Wayne Rooney recently penning a new £300,000 deal with the club, Red Devils fans insisted that United were right to make the striker the club's highest paid player, however thought he deserved a contract worth £189,000-a-week

The only other two stars that Manchester United fans thought deserved to be earning over the £100,000 barrier were Robin van Persie (£167,000-a-week) and club record signing Juan Mata (£128,000-a-week).

Manchester United fans thought Adnan Januzaj, who has heavily impressed for the the Old Trafford outfit this season, deserved to be on a contract worth £81,000-a-week, despite only being 19-years-old.

The likes of Guillermo Varela (£13,000-a-week) and Bebe (£14,000-a-week) were right at the bottom of the list.

With the amount of money that is currently being earned at the Theatre of Dreams, Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping the stars improve for the remainder of the season.

With thanks to the Manchester Evening News for conducting the poll and click here to see just how much fans thought each player was worth.
